We had Messy Church on Saturday. So on Friday afternoon I made a whole lot of vanilla cookies/biscuits using my chicken cutter. Then I made some chocolate brownies as they are a favourite at the 'tea' afterwards. Except that I went out into the garden to do something and didn't notice the oven timer beeping. Someone gave me a big bag of clothes that their friend had 'grown out of' a while ago, and when I saw one of the T shirts I thought 'I know exactly when to wear that!'

The Show is the Royal Manx Agricultural Show - but to locals it is just The Show. I am guessing this is true of local Agricultural Shows throughout the British Isles. Something like one in every five of the island's population will have been at The Show ( Read more... )
